A lovely park located on 50th street, between 59th and 57th, opposite the Faculty of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Yucatán. Here the first railway line was laid in the Peninsula of Yucatan on the 1st of April, 1870.
At present, in the center of the park, one can admire a sculpture commemorating the “Boy Heroes”, who died during the American invasion in 1847.
One of the most famous restaurants of Yucatecan food, “Los Almendros”, and the Cultural Center for Yucatecan Children overlook this pleasant park.
